Be a Hero, Be the Change

What's wrong, does something look off to you?

Take a look around, and see if there's something you can do.

Can you see all those people lost, alone and afraid?

Then take a deep breath cause this is your cue.

You can be a hero too.

Help out a neighbor, carry something, hold the door,

go the extra mile, give a little smile, show the world that you care.

Be a better friend, don't doubt the love you send

And you're helping some ones broken heart to mend

You are being the change.

You can stop the strife

That piles in the lives of people every where

You can save a life, you can save a soul

You just have to be aware

You can be a hero, you can be a change

People will say you're just a fool to believe you can change the world

Don't listen to them when they say

"You're just a fool to believe you can change the world"

So don't listen when they call you the fool,

Because you're being the change

The world's so big, it can break your heart

And you just want to help, not sure where to start

So you close your eyes

And send up a prayer into the night

So you can make a change

So don't be a fool, be a hero, be the change

Be the change, be the change be the change

Be the change, be the change, be the change

Don't be a fool, you can be a hero too, you can be the change.

Some of the lyrics toward the end are very similar to, and are inspired by, Carrie Underwood's Change.

How to be Miserable

So obviously the whole one post a month thing didn't really work out for me, I guess I don't really have much to say. In school, I've been working on my TPSP research and presentation, I have to turn it in the Thursday after Thanksgiving. In band I've been working hard on our new songs for our winter concert, the level has really upped from last year's songs as I upped to honors band. In Tech apps, I wrote a song about 'being the change' which is the big thing this year at Ford. I was considering posting the lyrics if anyone is interested(?) Last night I went babysitting for a new family in our ward. It went really well, and once the kids were asleep in their beds, I got to read How to be Miserable: a self-hinder book by John Bytheway. It's a great book, I really enjoyed it, it helps you to recognize habits you may or may not have (and whether you should or shouldn't have them.) I also got some great quotes from it.
We have the full week of Thanksgiving off, and I look forward to spending it wisely. I really love Thanksgiving, it's one of my favorite holidays of the year at my favorite time of the year. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Love You All!

So, I haven't posted in a very long time. I just never feel like I've done anything worth sharing, but, I have to start somewhere.

Each day, I try to do something worth while, though it's sometimes hard in the heat of Texas. On average it's been between 100 and 11o degrees Fahrenheit, which makes me super excited for my upcoming trip to Washington. As you all know, Harry Potter 7 part 2 came out Friday, I've already seen it, twice. I also made four shirts for the occasion, one for each house. I was really exited, and I think that the movie turned out a lot more like the book that the others. I'm quite proud of my shirts as well, I'm hoping to get pictures up soon.
I completed my 7th grade year June 3rd. Nothing out of the ordinary, I went, sat in some classes, learned some things, and forgot it all. I continue to walk my dog, Alpha, twice a day. He's a sweet boy, he loves people, and always grovels at their feet. He's just over a year old now.
Next week, we're heading down to Galveston for some deep sea fishing, which I surprised my self by being excited for, but I really am! I'll be sure to get pictures from that, It'll be lot's of fun, and I might even catch something.

That's about it in the exciting event's of my life. Let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to hear about, and I'll be sure to post, my new goal is once a month, so we'll see how that turns out.
