Father's day

Happy (late) Fathers day! hope everyone had a wonderful day, especially the fathers.

Storm!

Last night there was a huge storm, there were even tornado warnings. The power finally came on after being out for hours (from around 7:00 pm- 3:20ish this afternoon). Most of our neighbors had power, just not on our side of the street, and some of the houses across the alley. I've had several storms in my life, but that was really some thing for me at least (pounding rain, fierce winds, etc..)

The main reason I wrote that quote in my little something was because i had been cleaning my room and bathroom all morning,it felt like hours and hours of cleaning, then around 10:15 Nicki came in to see if I would take a break and play with her for about 10-20 minutes. We looked at the clock at what seemed like 20 minuets later, and found out that almost a hour had passed!

I thought of how true that is, and how its partly wrong. It is true because, we have to be nice to them, and to be friendly, but the other person has to want a friend to, they have to be willing to receive your actions as friendly deeds. Its just a thought I had.

Give three cheers for spring. It's so nice to have the weather be nice and warm in the 70's and 80's. I enjoy getting to play outside more often and see all the new green and flowers come out again. I hope you all get to enjoy the nice weather as well.
